Out    -  Playground parking area > Chaparral > Red Dam Loop > Chaparral > Winding Snake > Burkett Park     3.7 miles

Return - Burkett Park > WS to LL Connector > Lanky Lackey > Nature Trail > Tasajilla Flats > Playground Parking Area  3.6 miles

Temps started at 82 and ended at 89.  Mostly cloudy with light breeze.

A very uneventful hike.  All trails were dry and easy to traverse.  There were a few people on the trails but I observed no animals and only a few birds.  Even though the hike was uneventful, it's always better to spend the morning hiking at the park rather than sitting at home in front of the TV or computer.

NOTES

Water, shade, info kiosk, toilets and a bicycle repair station at Playground parking area.

Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at Burkett Park.
