Out      Playground Parking Area > Tasajilla Flats > Nature Loop > Lanky Lackey > WS to LL Connector > Burkett Park       4.2 miles

Return  Burkett Park > Winding Snake > Chaparral > Playground Parking Area    3.3 miles

Temp in low to mid 50's, partly cloudy and light wind.

An easy hike along damp trails that were easy to see and traverse.  Quite a few ground hugging birds were out; they were ground huggers not because of the wind, but because of the American Kestrels perched in the trees.  Also saw a hawk of some type swooping about four feet above the ground as he searched for food.

All in all, an enjoyable hike!
