Didn't see a lot of birds on this hike but this Pyrrhuloxia allowed me to take his picture.

Out     Burkett park> Suzanne's Trail > Roller Coaster > West Potts Creek > Armadillo > Turkey Creek > service road (NE)     4.2 miles

Return service road (NE) > service road (SW) > Burkett Trail > Burkett park     2.0 miles

Temps start at 45 end at 50, sunny, steady wind.

Easy stroll through some trails and service roads I haven't been on in awhile.  Park personnel had groomed a good portion of West Potts Creek and Turkey Creek trails.  In addition, the service roads we were on had recently been scraped and the roads widened.  I believe this was done prior to the controlled fires because most of the hike was through recently burned areas.  Of course, the fires exposed old bottles and a few other pieces of trash that we picked up.  No wildlife and not many birds were seen.

NOTES

Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at Burkett park.
