Park Mid-Section Burkett Park Fitness Hike Loop

With all the rains in the past month, the lake is at 14.7% which isn't much but a few months ago, all you would have seen was dry land; not a drop of water in sight.

Route    Burkett Park > Burkett Trail > service road (East) > service road (West) > Playground (South) > East Potts Creek > Burkett Trail > Burkett Park         4.6 miles

Temnps in the mid-90's, sunny and a slight breeze.

Fitness hike with a friend.  Basically wandered on some service roads we haven't been on in awhile.  Fixed a cattle water tank and had a few cattle chase the dog that was with us!


Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at Burkett Park.

Water and shade available at Bell's Point (near northern end of Playground Trail).
