Out Bell's Trailhead > Shady Trail > service road > Scenic Loop > South Slick Rock > Lower Ghost Camp > Upper Ghost Camp > service road > Cougar Outlook 3.0 miles

Return Cougar Outlook > service Road (West) > Riverbend Trail (North) > Badlands > Big Hill (North) > service road > Rocky Creek > service road > Bell's Trailhead 3.5 miles

Upper 50's to 70 degrees, no wind and sunny.

Nice hike to stretch the legs with my hiking partner. Some prescribed burning completed but no impact on the trails. LOTS of birds out today! This route has NO WATER available - be prepared by bringing your own. Nonetheless, it was a very nice hike.

NOTES

Info kiosk, shade, dry toilets and water for HORSES at Lower Ghost camp.

Info kiosk and shade at Cougar Outlook.
