Along the fence line in what was once the O.C. Fisher lake bed, some wag placed a glove on a fencepost.

Out    Burkett park > Burkett Trail > service road East then NE then East to cattle gate> Old boat ramp to end (right side of road) > follow fence East then North > old boat ramp by Cougar Lookout > Cougar Lookout     3.6 miles

Return Cougar Lookout > Flintstone> Playground > Armadillo > East Potts Creek > Burkett Trail > Burkett park      4.8 miles

Overcast, low 50's light wind.  Wanted to hike along the fence line which goes into the old lake bed.  Wandered around for a bit through LOTS of tumbleweeds and high grasses.  Got to Cougar Lookout and won't try that route for another year.

Came back along established trails and had a good time all in all.  As I hiked, I collected enough trash to completely fill a Walmart bag but the vast majority was older stuff.
