South Shore Playground to Armadillo Ridge

Not a Meteor
Although it may look like a meteor, it wasn't. The upper atmosphere was still and I watched as a jet left a contrail from one edge of the horizon to the other.

Nice day - temps cool but warmed up to 69, light cooling winds, sunny sky.  Been a week or more since I hiked last in the park and it was very enjoyable.  Basically, did a figure 8 with the crossing point at Burkett Park.  Saw a few butterflies, birds, white tail deer and bugs.  Unfortunately, I picked up enough trash along the trails to fill two plastic bags.
