More of a walk than a hike...

This is a park walking/jogging trail. Paved path around a pond/"lake." Comes out at a model plane flying field/wildflower nature trail. Not a ton of gorgeous flowers, but the foliage around the unpaved trail is high and gives some decent scenery (makes you feel like you're in the wild, at least). The wildflower trail is brief, though, and then it's back to the park area.

if you like to walk through neighborhoods and behind houses, then this is for you! granted, eventually you don't see any houses. then it's just the back of random industrial facilities. and the payoff? a dead-end into impenetrable brush! then you've got the 8 mile walk back to ask yourself why you bothered...
