This is a completely paved path through a city park along a busy residential street with a school nearby, soccer and baseball fields, and outdoor play equipment. It's a great place to take the kids for a picnic, but it's not at all a natural setting.

Our kids are 4 and 6, and this was perfect for them. Taking a stroller, even a jogging stroller, would probably not work, but as long as your kids can walk, it's great. I have seen snakes on the trail, so keep your eyes open. Cranes, ducks, geese are usually present. There is a nice picnic area and the trail that surrounds a lake.
