Comments:

I work at the park and have hiked this trail many times!  Its a great trail for easy scenic walking.  It has a nice length and we keep it well maintained.  In summer months you definitely want to take water.  A self-guided booklet is available in the visitor center for free.  As always watch for snakes!  Probably the best time to hike this is first thing in the morning to avoid crowds of people.
