Comments: A nice trail that is more rural and rugged than most DFW area trails. It is not totally natural, as the trail goes through some marinas and by other developed sites, but it is still a good hike. Some ups and downs so that you can get some more realistic training for hiking more wilderness trails elsewhere. I did have some problems at one section following the trail, as it appears that a biking trail and the hiking trail kept criss-crossing and confusing me. Still, a good place to warm-up for future hikes out west.
