Not just for runners
A strange collection of hoodoos could be seen from the trail.

Comments:
This trail is one of the longest in the park. I think the best part of the trail is near the start as it winds over rolling terrain. There's not much shade here, which is common for Palo Duro. The Little Fox Canyon Trail lies at the end of this one, so we'll probably consider it one hike. It was flater and a bit overgrown, so if you're looking to cut the hike short you can turnaround at the main trail junction. A side trail also heads south at the junction to join up with the popular Lighthouse Trail.
