Since several sections of the Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) were closed last year as a result of the drought and lots of fallen trees, it was nice to finally get back out on the LSHT. It was like revisting an old friend.
The Big Woods section earns its name as you experience a lot of tall trees along your hike. It was a beautiful day to hike from one end to the other and back.
