Nice Park In A Bad Part Of Town

Little White Oak Bayou
Moody Park is located along Little White Oak Bayou. Unfortunately, it was polluted with trash and litter, making it an eyesore.

Comments:

Moody Park is located north of downtown Houston and known as "the Northside."  It is a Hispanic neighborhood with all of the problems poor, urban neighborhoods usually have.  It's not a very safe part of town, especially at night.

In that setting, Moody Park is a little oasis.  It is a fairly large park with numerous amenities, including swimming pools, baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, a gazebo, and a paved trail running around and through the park.  It's a nice park, but the periodic sound of police sirens or helicopters flying overhead remind you to be cautious.
