Walk Along Mason Creek

The Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail straddles Porter Road.  There is one large area with a 0.90 mile trail that goes around a reservoir.  On the other side of the street, there are a couple of paved trail loops that go down to Katy Park.  The distance of these loops is 1.45 miles.

There are no distance markers, but the trail is well maintained.  There are a lot of turtles and small fish in the wet areas.  The walk around the reservoir is nice, but beyond the small concrete dam the trail becomes dirt.
