Short but sweet

There are a few pockets of open space along the trail. This area hosted lots of bluestem grasses, some growing up to 5 feet tall.

Comments: This short nature trail can be accompanied by one of the more detailed interpretive guides you're like to see in a state park. It's worth the 75 cents, even if the state live oak is now dead. A good warm up hike for the brewery trail later in the day.
