Crowded, but with a few quiet spots

The trails here are of two types, wide, somewhat crowded and often paved and secluded singletrack with hardpack surface. The best spots are along Slaughter Creek at the far south end of the park. Here you'll find few people, less road noise and a couple of nice views of the creek. The large concrete loop in the middle of the park gets the most traffic. Still, it's not like Town Lake.
Busy park

Lots of bikes, hikers, joggers and picnickers. But the far reaches of the trail are pretty and quiet. I never realized how large this park was or that it had such a big fishing hole!
Nice park with unique plants.

THis is the only place in Austin that I've seen Spanish Moss.
