This is a park for dogs mainly, not humans. It is caged in and there are two areas for the dogs to run free. This is not a place to hike or exercise. This is a place where people take their dogs to run around and do dog things.
Right next door to the Dog Park is a very small skate park - Congressman Bill Archer Skate Park. It has a couple of 1/4 pipes to ride skateboards on. One is small (for kids), the other a little larger (for the more advanced skateboarders). No X Games here, but a neat place to ride the board with your kids.
